Youth Exchanges
(Erasmus+)

Discover, Learn, and Grow Across Borders

At Breeze of Youth, we organize and host Youth Exchanges funded by the Erasmus+ programme, an initiative of the European Union that supports education, training, youth, and sport across Europe.

What is Erasmus+?

Europe’s Flagship Programme for Education, Training, Youth, and Sport

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s main programme that supports learning, mobility, and cooperation across borders. It offers opportunities for people of all ages to study, train, volunteer, or gain experience abroad, with a strong focus on young people and youth workers.

The current programme runs from 2021 to 2027, with a significantly larger budget than before, over €26 billion, to reach more participants and support more inclusive, digital, and environmentally sustainable projects.

For youth organizations like Breeze of Youth, Erasmus+ is a powerful tool to create international opportunities that are free of charge for participants. It encourages cultural exchange, critical thinking, creativity, and active citizenship, all through hands-on, non-formal education experiences.

Participants co-create the project, shaping every phase from start to finish.

Sustainable Approach

We encourage eco-travel and minimize waste wherever possible.

Digital Learning

Our exchanges integrate digital tools, storytelling, and creative media.

Skill Development

Youth gain teamwork, public speaking, and leadership experience.

Practical Impact

Projects lead to concrete outputs: campaigns, videos, or local actions.

Inclusivity First

We prioritize access for young people facing fewer opportunities.

Why It Matters

These projects go beyond travel. They help young people:

• Discover new perspectives
• Develop critical 21st-century skills
• Feel part of a shared European identity
• Take action on issues they care about

By joining a Youth Exchange, young people step into a space of creativity, dialogue, and personal discovery. They connect with peers from across Europe, share ideas, and learn to respect differences while recognizing shared values. The experiences they gain often spark long-term involvement in volunteering, activism, or career shifts. Youth Exchanges also contribute to stronger local communities, participants often bring back ideas and tools that they use to make a difference at home. As an organization, we support them not only during the exchange but also before and after, helping them reflect and grow. At Breeze of Youth, each exchange is a story of transformation waiting to happen.
